Testimony
I came to IMM in spring 2016 as a PhD student in an Horizon 2020 ITN program and joined the group of Dr. Gonçalo Bernardes. During the next 3.5 years, I had the opportunity to conduct my PhD research in an inspiring environment and to enjoy the Portuguese hospitality.
What I really appreciated at IMM was the very open and helpful atmosphere between different research groups. No matter what you were looking for, there was always a chance somebody next door could help you. The time at IMM strengthened my development as independent researcher and helped my to form contacts and friendships, which will last for a long time.
