Biosketch

Margarida Trindade works to improve the institution’s grant portfolios for over a decade, heading the Pre-award offices of ITQB NOVA, a Life Sciences research institute from NOVA Lisbon University, Portugal (since 2016), and previously at ISCTE-IUL (2013-16) and iMM (2008-13).

M. Trindade is Invited Professor at Research Management and Policy Postgraduation at FCSH NOVA (since 2019), Assessor at EARMA Research Management Certification (since 2015), IGC Ombudsperson (since 2019), Expert Evaluator (H2020, COST, FP7), participates at foRMAtion (Erasmus+, 20-2022), TRANSPEER (Erasmus+, 2020-21) and Impact (Twinning, 2019-22) projects. She advised for H2020 MSCA (2014-2015) and coordinated PIC (Portuguese network of research managers, 2017-18). She holds a PhD on Developmental Biology, UCL, UK.
