I have started my scientific career at Institute for Medical Research, University of Belgrade where I have worked in the National reference Laboratory for Toxoplasmosis. There I have done my PhD, awarded to me in 2012 from University of Belgrade Serbia, with the focus on molecular parasitology.
After completing postdoc at the same laboratory I have moved to Portugal to work with Dr Miguel Prudencio at iMM, on developing a vaccine against malaria. After my scientific career I have decided to change paths and move to industry, I have joined Thermo Fisher Scientific in 2017. Currently I work and live in Melbourne, Australia.
Testimony
I had the most amazing experience at iMM, I was very welcomed by everyone. Apart from great science and research I was exposed to, I had the opportunity to learn from great scientists where curiosity was sparked and questions were always welcomed.
