Biosketch
Masters degree in Biological Engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico de Lisboa. Master Thesis performed at Instituto de Medicina Molecular focused on the Molecular Interactions of Fibrinogen with Erythrocyte in Carotid Artery Disease.
After my Masters, I started working at Tabaqueira, a Philip Morris International Affiliate, first as an intern in the Environment, Health and Safety Department and currently as a Sustainability Specialist.
Testimony
My master thesis at iMM focused on the Molecular Interactions of Fibrinogen with Erythrocyte in Carotid Artery Disease. Using groundbreaking techniques such as Atomic Force Microscopy, allowed me to broaden my scientific vision and was a valuable and educational experience.
I was able to learn in a friendly environment at Nuno Santos Lab, where I was well received by the team. From my experience at iMM I was able to understand that when you combine Science with Technology the impossible becomes possible!
